Dear Reader
Before you throw one of these awful books to the ground and run as far away as possible, you should probably know why. I will assume you have not read anything about the Baudelaire orphans, then before you read even one more sentence you should know this: Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are kindhearted and q uick-witted, but their lives, I am sorry to say, are filled with bad luck and misery. All of the stories about these children are unhappy and wretched. I will continue to record these tragic tales, for that is what I do. So I should tell you that these books are best left on the ground, where you undoubtedly found one. With all due respect Each successive book picks up where the previous book ended. Best
read in succession. |
