Two types of presentation
Our fairs can be delivered in rolling bookcases, (like the national
guys), or in boxes where the plan is to display the books on
tabletops. The best selling technique is the tabletops because this
allows for the best presentation. It also results on average in
about a 15% increase in sales over bookcases.
That said we know it's tough to find the volunteers and the
time to make fund-raising work, therefore bookcases remain the most
popular choice. Our bookcases unique in design:
- They are made of wood giving the sale a bookstore or library
feel.
- They open up on both sides -- having wings if you will.
The cases open up forming a "T" shape. This makes
the cases more stable and allows us to get more than twice as many
selections onto our bookcases as our competitors.
Those selections filling the bookcases start with a set booklist of
approximately 1000 titles, (some of which are available for your
perusal in our Spine-Breaker
catalogue). We will send you an advanced copy of our current
booklist and ask you and your staff to look it over.
*Please note that the list is
of the titles that you will
be receiving, not a list to chose from. So if you do nothing, you
will get them all!*
After you've given it the once over you may add or subtract
any titles you wish. We will even make our best effort to bring in
titles from publishers we do not normally carry.

It is our true belief that
your book fair should raise both money and reading levels!
With all the fundraisers
parents now get bombarded with shouldn't your "educational"
book fair truly sell quality books--- not pencils, erasers and things
that glitter?!
